PUPPY Selection
Once a litter is born we will contact people on our waitlist in the order of deposits recived. At that time you will have the option to either choose a puppy from the current litter, or postpone your selection for a future litter. Final selections start when the puppies are 4-6 weeks old, which is when they will start to develope their individual personalities.
VISITATIONS
We want everyone to be completely comfortable and confident with their puppy selection. Many of our parent dogs and litters are in guardian homes, so we generally do not allow visitations to our farm or their homes. We are happy to send updated pictures, and FaceTime families to help with final selections. Please visit our Facebook page (linked below) for past-puppy updates, testimonials, and more.
guardian homes
A few of my close friends and family members have dogs that are part of our breeding program. They are people I’d trust with my children, so I trust them with our pups completely. This allows us to expand our program and build on the foundations we’ve laid, while making sure none of the dogs are living life in a breeding kennel. All the dogs in our guardian program live as part of a family and get tons of love and attention.
FINAL PAYMENTS
Final payments are due on the day you recieve your puppy.
Pick-up or delivery Day
Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks old. Prior to leaving us, each puppy will have been dewormed, had an eximanation by a vet, and recieved their first vaccinations. Each puppy will be sent home with a microchip, Snuggle Puppy and blanket with the scent of mom and littermates, toy, harness and leash, socialazation information, vet records, food, and 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance.
DELIVERY
We currently have pups located in 36 states, and in Canada, and are happy to offer delivery to anywhere in the United States! We do not use outside agencies to deliver our puppies, but have trusted friends who we use to coordinate tranport when needed. Any transport will be an additional cost, and is negotiated on an individual basis.
HEALTH GUARANTEE
Because we perform genetic testing on each of our parent dogs, we are confident you will recieve a healthy puppy. All of our puppies come with a 1–Year Health Guarantee!
TAIL DOCKING
We will dock the tails of our Australian Shepherds unless specifically asked not to. We do not dock the tails of any of our doodle breeds unless certain, uncommon circumstances warrant doing so.
fading
Poodles can be born one color and then mature into a different color due to gentics (the Poodle fading gene). This is something some of our doodle pups have inherited. If a pup’s color is going to change, it will usually occur within the first two years of their life. At this point, they will have come into their adult coat. Black puppies could fade to blue, charcoal grey, medium grey, or silver. Brown puppies could become lighter brown, cafe au lait, silver-beige, or cream. There isn’t a single gene responsible for this change, therefore no test that can currently determine if a puppy will fade. Fading can aslo be cause by envirnmental factors such as exposure to sunlight.
BREEDING RIGHTS
Each puppy will be sold with a strict spay/neuter contract, which will be signed on Pick-up/Delivery Day. Breeding rights will be considered for small, approved breeders at an additional cost.
